Breads of the Creative Cities: celebrating the UNESCO Creative Cities Bread Traditions

Breads of the Creative Cities (BoCC) is the first inter-cluster project of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, developed by the Creative Knowledge Foundation in partnership with Tucson UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Launched during the 2018 UCCN Annual Meeting in Krakow and Katowice, BoCC celebrates the diversity of local staple foods, symbolized by bread, and their cultural significance.

Through the Creative Knowledge Platform, the heri-telling project platform, cities share their stories, traditions, and creative practices through texts, images, and multimedia, offering an immersive look into the rich heritage and unique voices of their Bakers, Millers and Famers (Knowledge Keepers).
